Air Monopoly

I want Air Deccan to start operating flights to Oman and teach all the biggies (read Indian, Gulf Air, Oman Air) a lesson.

Reason?

A return fare to Europe from Muscat costs RO195 while a return fare to a South Indian location is priced at RO 205. A return fare to Cairo (Egypt) costs RO130 while a one-way trip to Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) is available for around RO135. Mind you, the flying time to Cairo is 4 hours and to Thiruvananthapuram is 3.5 hours.

How long the monopoly and fleecing will continue? My fingers are crossed…
