Pizza Muscat launched a delightfully different product – Herbal Pizza – at their Shatti Al Plaza outlet here on Tuesday.
To a question about what was the need to create a new product like Herbal pizza, Chakravorty said: “First of all we wanted to come up with something new and different for our customers. Then and more importantly we wanted to change the mindset of people. Usually pizza is frowned upon by health fads who label it as a junk food. But we want to demonstrate that with the addition of herbs like parsley, basil (Tulsi) and oregano that are kneaded into the dough for the pizza base, that pizzas can make a healthy, light and nutritious meal with absolutely no side-effects.
